• THE LOWDOWN – MNM interrupted a segment involving Heidenreich, Michelle, and a few of her fellow divas. Melina proceeded to insult them, and it wasn’t long before Michelle had has enough. Throughout the next few weeks, Michelle seemed determined to shut Melina up.
• THE ENCOUNTERS – Michelle felt the need to make Melina pay for her interference in matches, which lead to Melina demanding a one on one match with her to establish that she was the dominant diva on SmackDown:
••• JUNE 16TH, 2005 – MNM interrupt Heidenreich, Michelle, Jackie Gayda, Joy Giovanni, and Lauren Jones while celebrating in the ring. Once they’ve stolen to spotlight, MNM proceed to run them down. Melina claims that she’d never be Heidenreich’s friend, and that all the divas are doing is getting fat. Michelle had heard enough, and speared Melina to the ground, beating on her. Heidenreich pulled her off, and Mercury and Nitro were quick to take Heidenreich out. A snapshot later, MNM stood dominant in the ring. [PHOTOS]
••• JUNE 23RD, 2005 - JOEY MERCURY VS. HEIDENREICH — Melina interfered in the match between Joey Mercury and Heidenreich, slapping Mercury’s opponent. Michelle quickly came down to ringside, attacking Melina. The two get into a fight that is soon broken up. Afterwards, backstage, Melina complains to Mercury and Nitro. She announces she’s challenging Michelle to a match for the next week. [PHOTOS]
••• JUNE 30TH, 2005 - MELINA VS. MICHELLE MCCOOL – Melina defeats Michelle in a very physical match-up, which ends when Melina powerbombs Michelle off the turnbuckle to counter her top-rope punches. With the victory, Melina establishes herself, at least in her mind, to be the ‘Dominant Diva on SmackDown’. [PHOTOS]
• NOW? – After her feud with Melina, Michelle headed down to Deep South Wrestling - the newest developmental territory for the WWE. She’s currently back on SmackDown as a babyface, competing in several matches and managing Chuck Palumbo. |
