• WHEN? – Throughout Melina’s OVW tenure. (March 2004-July 2005)

• THE LOWDOWN – Melina was brought in by Johnny Nitro to aid him in his feud against Cappotelli. Before Melina’s debut, Nitro nearly paralyzed Matt with a piledriver, confining him to a neck brace for some time. Melina successfully added to the intensity of the feud. Later in her OVW career, Matt’s random matches with MNM provided for more encounters between the two.

• THE ENCOUNTERS – Melina constantly made her presence known during many of Cappotelli’s matches, and even suffered two losses in matches against him:
••• MARCH 20TH, 2004 - MELINA’S OVW DEBUT — Melina debuts in OVW, seemingly there to help Cappotelli in his feud against Johnny Nitro. It doesn’t take long, though, for Melina to double-cross him when his back is turned and celebrate with Nitro. [PHOTOS]
••• APRIL 10TH, 2004 - CAPPOTELLI/STANDING THUNDER VS. THE TROUBLESHOOTERS – During Matt’s tag team match Standing Thunder against The Troubleshooters, Johnny Nitro and Melina run out. Melina grabs Matt by the leg, distracting him so Nitro can jump him from behind, smashing his back into the ring post and leaving Cappotelli’s partner high and dry! [PHOTOS]
••• MAY 15TH, 2004 - JOHNNY NITRO VS. SETH SKYFIRE — Melina, as always, was ringside for Johnny Nitro’s match against Seth Skyfire. Matt Cappotelli appears from backstage to distract Nitro in the most effective way possible - kissing Melina! [PHOTOS]
••• MAY 29TH, 2004 - JOEY MATTHEWS VS. MATT CAPPOTELLI – Melina ran out to ringside in the midst of a Joey Matthews/Matt Cappotelli match. Distracting the ref, Melina slipping a pair of brass knuckles to Matthews, who proceeded to clock Cappotelli in the head with them and pin him for the 3 count! [PHOTOS]
••• JUNE 4TH, 2004 - MATT CAPPOTELLI VS. NITRO/MELINA – Melina and Johnny Nitro take on Matt Cappotelli in a handicap match at an OVW Summer Sizzler Series event. Unfortunately for Nitro and Melina come up on the losing end. [PHOTOS]
••• JANUARY 22ND, 2005 - MNM VS. THE THRILLSEEKERS – MNM defend their titles against the Thrillseekers - Johnny Jeter and Matt Cappotelli. Despite their best efforts, MNM lose their Southern Tag Team Championships in the bout. [PHOTOS]
••• APRIL 2ND, 2005 - MNM VS. THE THRILLSEEKERS – A Tag Team Title match takes place between MNM and Jeter/Cappotelli. In order to prevent Melina getting involved in the match, she is handcuffed to the ring post! Cappotelli doesn’t waste the opportunity, kissing Melina while she’s attached to the ring! [PHOTOS]
••• JULY 30TH, 2005 - MNM VS. THE THRILLSEEKERS – In what was (as of this writing) MNM’s last OVW appearance, the trio encounters many old foes backstage, including Jeter and Cappotelli. Later, the two teams battle in that night’s main event, MNM coming out on the losing end. [PHOTOS]

• NOW? – Matt Cappotelli has been rumored to debut on the main roster countless times, unfortunately encountering several setbacks in the way. Currently, Matt is sidelined with what appears to be a brain tumor, and it is unknown if he will be well enough to wrestle again.
